LS1 1PJ Date: 10th December 2009 Time: 9:00 until 15:45 The aim of this event is to provide advice and guidance to assist you in using your Harnessing Technology grant to address some of your current educational ICT priorities. We are extremely fortunate that colleagues Robin Ball and Simon Thompson from Becta have kindly agreed to join us. They will update us on the current policies regarding parental engagement and the use of Learning Platforms, as well as alert us to the latest Becta resources to support schools. A selection of workshops will provide you with practical advice to enable you to make informed decisions about your use of technology to support learning. Practitioners from schools will share their experience of the use of Learning Platforms and demonstrate effective practice in the use of ICT to support parental engagement. A range of local and national ICT suppliers will be available to answer your questions and enable you to sample a variety of Harnessing Technology solutions.
